✨ Definition (परिभाषा)

A Noun is the name of a person, place, thing, idea, or feeling.
(संज्ञा वह शब्द है, जो किसी व्यक्ति, स्थान, वस्तु, विचार या भाव को व्यक्त करता है।)

Examples:

📖 Types of Noun (संज्ञा के प्रकार)

1. Proper Noun (व्यक्तिवाचक संज्ञा)

किसी विशेष व्यक्ति, स्थान, वस्तु या वस्तु का नाम।
Examples:

  • India is my country.

  • William Shakespeare was a great poet.


2. Common Noun (जातिवाचक संज्ञा)

सामान्य व्यक्ति, स्थान या वस्तु को दर्शाता है।
Examples:

  • The boy is playing.

  • A city is full of people.


3. Collective Noun (समूहवाचक संज्ञा)

समूह या झुंड को दर्शाता है।
Examples:

  • A team is playing cricket.

  • A flock of birds is flying.


4. Abstract Noun (भाववाचक संज्ञा)

भाव, गुण, अवस्था या विचार को दर्शाता है जिसे छुआ नहीं जा सकता।
Examples:

  • Honesty is the best policy.

  • Childhood is a golden time.


5. Material Noun (द्रव्यवाचक संज्ञा)

धातु, द्रव्य या वस्तु पदार्थ को दर्शाता है।
Examples:

  • The ring is made of gold.

  • Milk is good for health.
